Coaching points
- One high, one low: the angles are better. The low man drifts down, then throws it back so the carrier catches it in the middle and can go either way.
- If they switch, slip: wide, not tight, so you can catch and fire. Between two short sticks most teams switch.
- If they stay, rub shoulder to shoulder and the carrier has a free lane. If his defender turns his head to the pick, split the other way. Missed it? Pick again. The crease middie rotates up top so someone is back.
- Kaley and Donovan slip inside for the shot after a switch, and roll early on the front side if the picker's defender cheats to the ball; Boyle slips wide. Both work.
