Yes. Core FanFeed — your profile, verification, coach views, messaging — is free forever. We do not sell your data. We do not gate the features that actually matter.

NCSA charges parents $2,500 to $3,500 and routes calls to recruiting coordinators. Hudl is built for team video review, not for an athlete’s public recruiting presence. We do one thing: make you visible to verified coaches, with cryptographically verified footage, and tell you every time a coach looks. Cost nothing. Verify footage. You keep the profile.

Fill out your profile (school, sport, grad year), submit the verification request from your dashboard, and we manually confirm you within 24 hours on weekdays. Most verifications are approved — we just need to confirm you are a real athlete at a real school.

When you upload a video, we cryptographically hash the file so nothing can be added or edited after upload. That hash is visible on your profile. Coaches can trust that what they are watching is what was recorded — not an AI-generated or AI-enhanced clip.

Both work. Raw is stronger. Coaches we have interviewed skip 90% of edited reels — they want to see how you move when you are NOT making the play. One 5-minute unedited clip beats a 90-second highlight reel every time.

Your parent’s email is required at signup. Before your profile goes fully live to coaches, we confirm consent with your parent. You still own and edit the profile — the parent consent is legal, not editorial.

Technically yes. But the athlete owns the account. If your coach signs you up, the email on the account should be yours or your parent’s — not the coach’s. Profiles created with a coach’s email can’t be transferred back to the athlete later.

Right now: volleyball, soccer, softball, basketball, football, baseball, lacrosse, track. We lean women’s but the product works for any sport. If your sport has a stat we do not capture, email evan@fanfeed.me — we add sport fields on request.

You get a notification on your dashboard and (if enabled) via email. Every view. Every time. We show you the school and the role — Head Coach, Assistant, Recruiting Coordinator. Free users see anonymized details for 7 days, then full details. Premium sees full details immediately.

Once you are verified, yes — but only coaches who have viewed your profile first. This is intentional. Cold athlete-to-coach DMs get ignored. Letting the coach initiate the view and then opening a two-way thread is how conversations actually start.

Your profile is public at fanfeed.me/yourusername. Verified coaches can search and filter all public profiles. If you want to hide your profile, set it to private from /dashboard/edit — you will still see coach views, but coaches will not find you in search.

Yes — any logged-in user who views your profile is recorded. Coaches are called out with their verified badge and school. Non-coach views appear as "Fan."

June 15 is the NCAA date D-I coaches can start directly contacting class-of-2028 athletes. Every verified FanFeed profile with recent raw footage is searchable on that date. The work you do before June 15 is the work that matters after.

Your profile only contains what you choose to put on it. Parent consent is required under 18. Your data is never sold, shared with recruiting services, or given to third parties. You can delete your profile from /dashboard/edit any time, and your data is purged within 24 hours. Have your parent email evan@fanfeed.me directly with any question. Responses are under 12 hours.

Yes. From /account/billing, one click. No holds, no "are you sure" pop-ups. Your subscription ends at the close of the current billing period.

If you cancel within 7 days of your first subscription and have not used the paid features meaningfully, email evan@fanfeed.me and we refund. After 7 days or significant use, we do not refund — but you can always cancel forward.

No. Profile data is not shared with third-party recruiting services, data brokers, advertisers, or any external party. Coaches see your profile because you let them — not because we routed your info to them. Full details in the privacy policy.

From /dashboard/edit, bottom of the page. "Delete profile." Your data is purged from our production DB within 24 hours. We keep nothing.
