Welcome to FanFeed ("FanFeed," "we," "us," or "our"), a sports recruiting and Name, Image & Likeness ("NIL") marketplace platform operated at fanfeed.me. FanFeed is operated by FanFeed LLC, a Colorado limited liability company.
By accessing or using the FanFeed platform, website, mobile application, or related services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
For users under 18:Use of this Platform is conditioned upon verifiable parental or legal guardian consent. Athletes under 18 may not create an account without a parent or guardian completing FanFeed's Parental Consent Form. By using the Platform, you represent that you (a) are 18 or older, or (b) have obtained verifiable parental/guardian consent under COPPA and COPPA 2.0.
To register for the Platform, you must: (a) be at least 13 years of age; (b) if under 18, have verifiable parental/guardian consent on file with FanFeed; (c) provide accurate, complete, and current registration information; (d) not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform; and (e) comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify FanFeed immediately at support@fanfeed.me of any unauthorized use. FanFeed is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
Coaches must complete FanFeed's verification process before accessing coach-specific features. FanFeed reserves the right to revoke coach status if verification information is found inaccurate. Impersonating a college coach is grounds for immediate permanent termination and may be reported to the NCAA and relevant institutions.
Athletes may create profiles containing athletic statistics, highlight videos (hosted via third-party services including Hudl), academic information including GPA and graduation year, contact preferences, sport-specific metrics, and recruiting status.
By creating a Profile, you grant FanFeed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your Profile content within the Platform for recruiting and NIL purposes. You retain ownership of all content you upload.
FanFeed's core feature enables Athletes to receive real-time notifications when verified college coaches view their Profiles. Notifications may include the coach's name, institution, title, and time spent viewing. Coaches may elect an anonymous browsing mode that limits notification detail to anonymized metadata until the coach opts in to reveal their identity. FanFeed does not guarantee that all coach views will generate notifications; technical limitations may affect delivery.
The NIL Marketplace connects Athletes with Brands for commercial NIL arrangements. FanFeed charges a 15% transaction fee on all completed NIL deals processed through the Platform. All NIL transactions are subject to applicable state law. FanFeed is not a party to NIL contracts between Athletes and Brands; FanFeed provides the marketplace infrastructure only.
AI Scout Pro subscribers receive AI-generated recruiting analysis powered by third-party AI services. These reports are informational only and do not constitute professional recruiting advice. Accuracy is not guaranteed. College coaches are not obligated to act on any AI-generated assessments.
You agree NOT to use the Platform to:
FanFeed offers free and paid subscription tiers as described in Section 2.2. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
All payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. FanFeed does not store complete credit card information. NIL marketplace transactions are processed through Stripe Connect.
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. FanFeed does not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
FanFeed charges a 15% platform fee on the gross value of all NIL deals completed through the Marketplace. Additional Stripe payment processing fees (~2.9% + $0.30) apply separately.
The FanFeed name, logo, design, and software are the intellectual property of FanFeed LLC. The FanFeed name and logo are subject to pending USPTO trademark registration. All Platform technology, including the coach view tracking architecture and notification system, is proprietary to FanFeed LLC. You may not use FanFeed's intellectual property without express written permission.
User-generated content (athlete profiles, highlight videos, statistics) remains owned by the user. By uploading content, you grant FanFeed a license as described in Section 3.1. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license. To submit a copyright takedown notice, contact support@fanfeed.me.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. FanFeed does not warrant that: (a) the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) coach view notifications will be delivered in real time or at all; (c) AI-generated recruiting reports will be accurate or complete; or (d) use of the Platform will result in recruiting offers or NIL deals. FanFeed does not guarantee athletic or academic outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FanFeed LLC and its founders, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost recruiting opportunities, lost NIL income, data loss, or injury to reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. FanFeed's total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to FanFeed in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100.00).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FanFeed LLC, its founders, officers, employees, agents, and successors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of or access to the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; (d) any false or misleading information you submit; or (e) any NIL transaction you enter into through the Marketplace.
FanFeed's Platform is designed to comply with NCAA recruiting bylaws. College coaches using the Platform must comply with all applicable NCAA contact, evaluation, quiet, dead, and shutdown period restrictions. FanFeed is not an NCAA-affiliated entity and is not responsible for NCAA compliance violations by individual coaches or institutions. Coaches bear sole responsibility for ensuring Platform use complies with NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and conference-specific rules.
High school athletes and their families are responsible for understanding how Platform use may affect NCAA eligibility. FanFeed recommends consulting the NCAA Eligibility Center and/or a certified sports agent before entering into NIL deals.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Denver, Colorado, under JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Class action waiver: You waive any right to bring claims as a class action or class-wide arbitration. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
FanFeed reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email to your registered address at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must discontinue use and may request account deletion.
FanFeed may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account in-app at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 6 (IP), 7 (Disclaimers), 8 (Liability), 9 (Indemnification), and 11 (Disputes) survive termination.
