Coaching points
- On a high-wing dodge: the top man fades to the other side, the crease mirrors the dodge, and the backside middie cuts the middle.
- Dodge down the alley or sweep to the middle. On a sweep only the crease man and the dodger change spots; the shape stays the same.
- When their crease defender slides, look for the cutter in the middle: backside defenders who do not talk leave him open. If their low defender rotates up early, the back pipe is open.
- Duke's add-on: the crease man sets a pick up top first, then fills the top spot on an alley dodge or the wing spot on a sweep.
