Coaching points
- Pass, pass, dodge: move it side to side across the umbrella, then the high wing who catches it dodges down the alley.
- Defenders are taught to send a dodger down the alley, so it is a good place to dodge. Shoot on the run.
- Righties run it down this side, so the stick is inside for the shot. Lefties run it down the other side.
- If they slide to stop him, the two low attackmen on goal line extended get easy finishes.
- This is LaxLibrary's 3-1-2 alley dodge, a coach's variation. The dodge, pass, pass, dodge idea is two-source (see Dodge, Pass, Pass, Dodge); this umbrella version is one publisher's.
