Coaching points
- "32": three defensemen and two middies down. The goalie walks it up and does not pass until a rider picks him up.
- As he walks, the two middies back up toward the midline to keep their spacing. The fourth short stick (on for the LSM through the box) waits at the midline on the box side.
- First look: push it upfield. If nothing is there, the safe outlet is the low defender whose rider left him. Then the near middie cuts to the ball, turns outside, and pushes it to the other middie or our attackman up the sideline.
- Kaley and Donovan: each wide defender slightly above the goalie and about 30 yards from him. Drawn about 25 yards out, so both stay in bounds on a 53 1/3-yard field.
