Coaching points
- Stop the ball first. The triangle's top man or the middie who got back stops him and makes him pass; the middie trailing the play drops in away from the flow of the ball.
- On every pass the box rotates into the ball. Cover the ball and the crease first, play the skip lanes, guard a pair at once where you can, and leave the man farthest from the ball.
- Low men stay in front of GLE: the box doesn't go behind the goal. If someone drives from behind, the help-side man can slide across the crease.
- Buy time: a 5v4 only lasts five to ten seconds. Zimmerman and England and Lacrosse For Dummies teach the box; Lax Goalie Rat adds the calls and the pinch in.
