5-Man Rotate
Five around the perimeter rotating a spot on every pass, one man on the crease — beat the zone by making it turn, not by shooting first.
Install notes
Five men arced around the cage from low-left, up through the point, back down to low-right, with a single crease man holding the middle. Each pass moves every perimeter man one station toward the ball, so the five-man defense is always one rotation behind. The crease man's only job is to occupy two defenders and finish the dump. This is the shape most coaches actually mean when they say umbrella; both entries exist so a coach can pick the one his players were taught. The five dashed tokens are the man-down unit — same five as the other three EMO entries. The rotation itself is NOT drawn: every perimeter man moves one station on every pass, so a static diagram of it is five arrows that are all wrong the moment the ball moves again. Teach it as a rule, not a picture.
Drop your players into the spots and push each one his line — his job only. Free for teams.
