Zone Ride
Zone ride — three across the front, three at the midline; force it to one sideline and trap it there.

Orientation: this half is the opponent's defensive end. Nobody chases a man. The front three take the middle of the field away and funnel the clear to a predetermined sideline; the second line waits at the midline and traps the ball against that sideline as it arrives. The one thing that beats it is a ball through the middle, so the front center man's only job is to keep the goalie and the trailing pole from carrying up the center. Your poles hold the restraining line. Lower-risk than a ten-man ride and sustainable for a whole game.
Drop your players into the spots and push each one his line — his job only. Free for teams.
