FRAME half (goal at top): 0.167 goal line · 0.36 top of 8m arc · 0.433 top of 12m fan. THE DEFAULT FREE-POSITION ENTRY, and the first one a women's coach should see. Shooter shown on the RIGHT adjacent hash (x0.561, y0.346), which under the 2026 NCAA rules is one of only two legal spots: free positions are administered from the two hashes directly adjacent to the centre hash, and the half of the critical scoring area the foul happened in decides which. Every other player starts outside the arc and clear of the shooter's lane. The call here is a feed, not a shot: the carrier drives hard enough to commit the keeper and the recovering defender, and the cutter times her run from outside the arc to the far pipe. This is the free-position variant to teach a team whose best shooter keeps getting saved from the hash, and the timing is the whole play, so both the carrier and the cutter need their own instruction text. TWO DASHED TOKENS ONLY, and the restraint is the accuracy: the rule places the fouling defender 4 metres behind the free-position player on her own radius and puts the keeper in the circle, so those two are drawn. Where the other six stand is the defensive coach's call — the rule only says 4 metres clear and outside the arc — so drawing them would be inventing a defence. The carrier's line is the drive that commits the keeper; the pass is drawn to a SPOT on the far pipe and CL's cut arrives at the same spot, which is the timing the whole play is. CR's late line is the back door if the first look is covered.
Drop your players into the spots and push each one his line — his job only. Free for teams.
