FRAME half (goal at top): 0.167 goal line · 0.36 top of 8m arc · 0.433 top of 12m fan. The women's counterpart to the men's 2v1 and the same single read: carry directly at the defender until she commits, then release. Passing early is the universal mistake — it gives her time to recover to the receiver, and in the women's game she can then play the shooting space legally and force a bad angle. The trailer runs to the far side rather than straight behind, so the pass never crosses the front of the cage. If the defender never commits, the carrier takes it herself: an uncontested shot is the correct outcome of a 2v1, not a failure to pass. Two dashed tokens: the lone defender about 6 metres out, in front of the goal circle, and the keeper in it.
