Coaching points
- Carrier, think shot until somebody stops you. When the top man comes, pass to the man on your left, then keep it moving to where each slide came from: point, backside low man, across to the dump man.
- Attackmen, stay wide and in scoring spots and move to the ball to get open. Help is coming: you usually get about two quick passes (Lax Goalie Rat), so whoever catches it with his man late shoots.
- If you have a lefty attackman, he is your near pipe (Zimmerman and England).
- This is Lacrosse Unlimited's ideal flow (middie, A1, A2, A3) against Zimmerman and England's triangle. Lax Goalie Rat and Lacrosse Unlimited start the low defenders moving on Rotate; Zimmerman and England and Xcelerate start them on the first pass.
- Beginners: the carrier does not throw down his own side (CoachTube). The point sits anywhere from 12 to 20 yards out and the low men from just above GLE to about 5 yards outside the crease (Lacrosse For Dummies, CoachTube); pick one and keep it.
