Man-Down Rotation (Timberlane)
Coach’s variation from the Timberlane and East Roanoke playbook

Coaching points
- Every pass moves everyone. The man nearest the catch goes to the ball, and the rest rotate a spot toward it as he catches.
- The point to teach (Timberlane): the two offensive players farthest from the ball are split by one defender. With the ball at X, that is D4 between the two up top.
- D2 never moves in the diagram: he stays topside of the crease man.
- Timberlane calls the set a 1-3-2, counted from behind: one at X, two wings and a crease man, two up top (2-3-1 counted from the top).
- A worked example of the 5-Man Rotation, from the Timberlane and East Roanoke playbook.
