Coach’s variation from the Timberlane and East Roanoke playbook

- 3Their Right Defense skips it to their Left DefenseAttack 3 slides
Coaching points
- Attack 1: pressure the goalie (we force him from one side; the playbook does not say which). Then stay on him and take away the pass back.
- Attack 2: pressure that defender. Attack 3: cover the man in the middle of the field.
- The aim is the long pass across the field. When it goes, Attack 3 slides to the ball, Attack 1 runs up to the middle, and Attack 2 gets in the middle ready to jump the goalie if the ball comes back.
- From the Timberlane and East Roanoke playbook. USA Lacrosse teaches the same triangle rotation toward the ball.
