Coaching points
- 4 v 3: look to the open player for the easy pass, then drive at the defender while she is still sliding.
- Keep the box, two high and two low. The low attackers hold their space wide until the dump comes.
- The shape grows as players arrive (Brockport): 2 v 1 straight line, 3 v 2 triangle, 4 v 3 box, 5 v 4 dice with one in the middle, and for 6 v 5 add one more on top.
- Most breaks are built for 5 v 4. A 6 v 5 usually comes from a caused turnover, so run your man-up offense.
