Coaching points
- A face guard turns it into six against six. Use the crease: your star takes her face-guarder inside, and her teammates step up and attack.
- Drive at the space she left. The face-guarder has to choose: double and leave your star open on the crease, or stay and give you a 1v1.
- Your star can also get free off a legal pick, set in her face-guarder's line of sight.
- From US Lacrosse's Level 3 workbook and Achieve Lacrosse. US Lacrosse also teaches beating high pressure by pulling everyone out past the 12 and attacking the weakest defender 1v1: one source, not drawn here.
