Coaching points
- Start it behind the cage in a feeder's stick: the goalie has to face the feeder, with her back to every cutter.
- Cutters come down facing the cage, so a feed from behind turns straight into a shot. Feed to where she will be, never to a voice.
- The inside player on the ball side pops out and takes her defender with her, so the cutter has a clear lane. Never shoot with a teammate or a defender in your lane. Keep someone up top, and a feeder behind to back up the shot.
- From Hightstown's Julie Reisig (PlaySportsTV) and Lacrosse For Dummies' stack. The dodge-fade-feed and crease challenge from behind are separate coach's variations.
