Coaching points
- Top Center calls "Irish!", then "Go!" Four options: feed the cutter off the pick, feed the roll, drive the lane the two cutters empty, or feed Right Low when the circle defender slides.
- Right Wing waits for the pick and cuts close above it, asking with her right hand on top. Common errors: forcing the feed, cutting under the pick or too early, not cutting close enough to it, and catching with the wrong hand.
- If nothing is there, Top Center pulls out, outlets, and you reset. Run it to the left for a strong lefty.
- Teach it on paper, then on cones, then call it off the transition. From US Lacrosse's Level 2 coaching workbook.
