Coaching points
- The two-man reads: if they switch, the picker slips. If they go under the pick, the carrier shoots.
- Most important: don't look to feed the pick and roll. Feed the third player. She reads the two-man game before she catches it: a switch means the feed across the crease, no switch means the give-and-go.
- Off the ball, your first job in a two-man game is to be the swing outlet. Seals should be your most common action, and they often come before picks and slips.
- Don't leave one player fixed at X: her defender can jam the cuts. From Jamie Munro (JM3), coaching a girls' high school team.
